The First year of the Midnight Soul Film Festival is an event that strives to show the imagination and beauty of North Scandinavia in perpetual night illuminated by The Aurora Borealis. Refreshingly intimate for a festival of its size and scope, the event combines a range of marquee premieres, international competitions, compelling documentaries, new digital media work, live music performances, and star-studded red carpet events.

Midnight Soul is currently moving forward with planning its Festival for January 2022 as a hybrid in-person and online event, in accordance with all active health and safety recommendations from local officials.
